Professor Laurie D. Olin, Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture, Tsinghua University, recently received the "Great Wall Friendship Award" to Foreign Experts in Beijing.
The annual "Great Wall Friendship Award" is the highest award the Beijing Municipal Government confers on foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to Beijing’s economic and social progress. A total of fifteen foreign experts were honored with "Great Wall Friendship Award" to Foreign Experts in Beijing in 2006.
Professor Laurie D. Olin is a world-renowned landscape architect. He became Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture, Tsinghua University in 2003.
