A Student Exchange Agreement was signed between Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management (SEM) and School of Administration, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (EAMPUC) on November 21, during the visit of Mr. Pedro Rosso, President of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Mr. Andrónico Luksic, Vice Chairman of Banco de Chile, and Mr. Fernando Reyes Matta, Ambassador of Republic of Chile to China.
The signing ceremony of the Student Exchange Agreement was held in SEM, Tsinghua University. Mr. Pedro Rosso, Mr. Andrónico Luksic, Mr. Fernando Reyes Matta, and Professor Chen Guoqing, Executive Associated Dean of SEM, attended the ceremony. The student exchange program is sponsored by both Banco de Chile and its Vice Chairman Mr. Andrónico Luksic.
Tsinghua President Gu Binglin met and had a talk with the delegation members prior to the ceremony. On behalf of the university, President Gu extended welcome to Mr. Pedro Rosso, Mr. Andrónico Luksic, and Mr. Fernando Reyes Matta, and briefly introduced Tsinghua’s history and current development. They expressed the hope that more collaboration could be built between the two universities in the future.
