A Massachusetts State delegation from the U.S. on October 10 visited Tsinghua. The delegation was led by Professor Jack Wilson, President of the University of Massachusetts system. Other members of the delegation included government and business leaders.
Tsinghua President Gu Binglin had a talk with the guests, exchanging ideas on student cultivation and international exchange. They discussed possibilities of strengthening cooperation between Tsinghua and the University of Massachusetts in medical science, intellectual property, and faculty exchange. Also attending the meeting were Professor Zheng Yankang, Vice Chairperson of the University Council and President of Institute of Tsinghua University, Hebei.
President Jack Wilson also visited some laboratories and the Institute of Tsinghua University, Hebei.
