Mr. Stephen Salyer, President of the Salzburg Seminar, visited Tsinghua May 26. Tsinghua Vice President Chen Jining had a talk with Mr. Salyer.
The Seminar is a non-profit organization whose mission is to challenge current and future leaders to development creative ideas for solving global problems. Founded in 1947, the Seminar is recognized for its programs that build professional networks and relationships, provide a neutral setting for dialogue on contentious issues, and facilitate cross-sectoral and cross-cultural problem-solving.
