Dr. Arden L. Bement, Jr., director of U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), visited Tsinghua May 22. Tsinghua Vice President Kang Kejun had a talk with Dr. Bement.
On behalf of the university, Vice President Kang Kejun welcomed Dr. Bemenet to visit Tsinghua and gave an outline of Tsinghua’s history and recent development. The two also exchanged ideas on cooperation between Tsinghua and NSF.
Dr. A. Bement later visited Tsinghua-Foxconn Nanotechnology Research Center and Tsinghua National Laboratory for Information Science and Technology (TNList).
