The London China Investing in Innovation Seminar, sponsored by the Center for China in the World Economy of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, was held on campus on April 12.
Mr. Ken Livingstone, the mayor of London, Dr. David Concar, Counsellor for Science and Innovation of the British Embassy in Beijing, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Deputy Rector of Imperial College London, directors from related organizations, and 150 scholars from universities and industry from China and U.K. attended the event.
The seminar was designed as an intellectual exchange on science and technology, exploring such areas as health, energy, the environment, and entrepreneurship.
