On October 1, “Implementing Ideas, Integrity, and Innovation: Invitational Exhibition of National Image Art Design Achievements”, a theme exhibition of the Beijing International Design Week 2021 curated by Prof. He Jie of the Tsinghua Academy of Arts & Design and “Integrating Arts and Olympics in Physical and Aesthetic Education: Chinese Olympic Art Exhibition” organized by Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design, were held simultaneously in the comprehensive exhibition hall on the first floor of the China Millennium Monument.
Peng Gang, Vice President of Tsinghua University and the organizer of the Olympic Art Exhibition, visited the exhibition.
In his opening speech, he noted that the Invitational Exhibition of National Image Art Design Achievements fully demonstrated that since the start of the new era, the supporting institutions and design colleges, guided by Xi Jinping thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, have been implementing new development concepts and upholding integrity and innovation in efforts to build cultural self-confidence, and continuously launch innovative achievements of national image design related to the Party and the country. The Olympic Art and Design Exhibition opened at the same time and presents Olympic-related works such as art, design, and collections, integrating art and sports through consummate craftsmanship. The exhibition planned by the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design not only deepens the spirit of the Olympic Movement, but also actively explores research into Olympic art and education.

The holding of “Integrating Arts and Olympics in Physical and Aesthetic Education: Chinese Olympic Art Exhibition” on the 125th day countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has created a strong warming-up atmosphere for the Beijing Winter Olympics from a unique cultural perspective.
